Allen’s Cruz is a designer and visual artist based in Tio’tia:ke / Mooniyang (Montréal). His practice focuses on concept-led, typographic identity systems developed for cultural institutions, academic contexts, and design-forward clients. Working across branding, editorial and book design, exhibition design, and cultural publishing, he approaches design as a strategic and structured process grounded in clarity, authorship, and adaptability.
Rooted in his hybrid Dominican-Canadian identity, Cruz uses typography as both a conceptual and structural tool to translate positioning into coherent visual ecosystems. His work often engages with long-form and multi-format projects where consistency, narrative, and system thinking are essential, and where design responds to evolving social and cultural contexts.
